Whilst pursuing a diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts, Hayley spends the bulk of her free time conceptualising designs that blend her favourite contemporary fashion styles with elements from historical fashion archives.

Her inspirations include and are not limited to: Chinese culture, Chinese mythology, Chinese historical fashion, Victorian era, Regency era, cottagecore styles, paintings and nature. With crochet being a mostly Westernised craft, it is unlikely to find crochet designs that encompasses the very elements of Chinese culture that she loves. She aims to blend her love for the domestic craft of crochet with traditional and historical styles, and culture.
